Ask About My SituationGeneral Questions
What does Dynamic Resource Group do?
Dynamic Resource Group helps consumers organize and review difficult timeshare and solar contract situations, understand the terms and obligations involved, and explore potential administrative resolution options based on the facts of the individual case.
Is Dynamic Resource Group a law firm?
No. Dynamic Resource Group LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. When a matter requires legal, tax, credit, engineering, or other licensed professional services, an independent qualified professional may be appropriate.
Is the initial consultation free?
Yes. The initial DRG consultation is free. We use it to learn about your situation, the type of agreement involved, your primary concerns, and what you are trying to accomplish.
What documents should I have ready?
Bring whatever you have. Helpful documents may include the original contract, financing or loan documents, account statements, maintenance-fee notices, sales proposals, emails, text messages, payoff statements, and any correspondence with the resort, developer, solar company, lender, or servicer.
How long does a contract resolution take?
There is no universal timeline. Timing depends on the agreement, financing status, third parties involved, response times, documentation, and the strategy being pursued.
Timeshare Questions
Can I get out of a timeshare if I still owe money?
Possibly. An outstanding loan balance can make a case more complicated, but it is one of several factors that should be reviewed along with the contract, resort or developer, sales history, account status, and your individual circumstances.
Why are some timeshares advertised for extremely low resale prices?
The resale market can be very different from the original developer sales market. Some owners may prioritize transferring the ongoing obligation rather than recovering the original purchase price. A low asking price does not eliminate maintenance fees, assessments, transfer requirements, or other continuing obligations.
Should I stop paying maintenance fees or a timeshare loan?
Do not assume that seeking an exit automatically suspends contractual payment obligations. Missed payments can have financial or credit consequences. Understand your agreement and obtain appropriate professional guidance before changing payments.
What if I was told the timeshare would be easy to resell?
Preserve the sales materials, emails, texts, and any written representations you received. Compare those statements with the actual agreement and resale restrictions. The facts surrounding the original sale may be relevant to a review.
Solar Contract Questions
Can a solar contract be reviewed after the panels are installed?
Yes. Installation can make a cancellation or resolution more complicated, but a review can still examine the installation agreement, loan, lease or PPA, financing disclosures, sales representations, performance issues, transfer requirements, and other documents.
What is the difference between a solar loan, lease, and PPA?
A loan generally finances the purchase of the system. A lease generally involves paying for use of equipment owned by another party. A PPA generally involves agreeing to purchase the electricity produced by equipment owned by another party. The exact terms vary by contract.
Can solar affect a home sale or refinance?
It can. Depending on the agreement, a sale or refinance may involve payoff requirements, transfer approval, buyer qualification, UCC filings, liens, assessments, or other contractual requirements.
What if my solar payment increased?
Review the financing documents for payment adjustments, re-amortization, tax-credit assumptions, escalators, step-up provisions, or other terms that may change the payment over time.
